While expanding and strengthening the DECODUCT brand within the MENA region, in the year 1996, Interplast Electrical Division established the first ever fully integrated manufacturing facility within the MENA region to manufacture electric switches and sockets under the brand name Edison. EDISON electrical accessories are designed and manufactured by Interplast in a vertically integrated manufacturing facility in Sharjah UAE, in compliance to British and European standards under strict ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

Today, the Electrical accessories division of Interplast is the only fully integrated wiring devices and accessories manufacturing facility in the MENA region. From launching the first ever unbreakable polycarbonate range of switches till today the Interplast now offers five different designs/ranges of Edison wiring devices certified by ASTA U.K.
