A Polyolefin is any of a class of polymers produced from a simple olefin. Common polyolefins include all types of polyethylene and polypropylene. Polyolefins manufactured by Interplast are light in weight, durable, and resistant to physical and chemical attacks. They are primarily used in film structures for food and industrial packaging, structural plastics and consumer goods.
The Polyolefins have a waxy texture and can expand upon heating but retain their odorless and nonporous nature during heating or cooling which makes them an ideal material for food packaging.
